This item arrived quickly and looks the part – I’m sure it will do a good job of protecting the carpet once we’re out of the Corona Virus lock down and we’re able to use our vans again. It has a strong synthetic rubbery smell however that disperses over a few days. I’m a bit disappointed though with the fit – around the handbrake it fits quite badly, leaving about an inch of excess mat that sticks up around the handbrake. Unfortunately it’s not easy to trim as the edge of the mat has a stitched border I don’t want to disturb. Mine is a 2017 T6, not sure if it would fit a T5 any better. I’m a bit obsessive about things like this, hence 4, instead of 5 marks.

With a small amount of scissor-work it was easy to make this T5 product fit a 2019 T6 Ocean. The walk through extension to protect the carpet between the cabin and living area is very useful. Compared to the price of standard VW rubber mats this mat is very good value. The only reason for not awarding 5 stars is the smell as noted by an earlier review. It has taken a couple of weeks to fade to an acceptable level. Overall a worthwhile buy.
