Breakaway cable made from 3mm multi-strand galvanised wire with protective red pvc sheathing.packs of They will fit all makes of trailers in the UK including for Williams, Graham Edwards, Bateson as well as pretty much every caravan on the road.

They have a galvanised 8mm Carbine with eyelet at the “car” end and a cadmium plated spring fitting at the trailer end. 

They are 1.0 metres long & around 5mm overall diameter suitable for any trailer particularly the larger 3500kgs ones. 

If your trailer parts company with the towing vehicle these will apply the brakes before snapping – that is why they are a legal requirement on all braked trailers.
